Neil O'Dwyer has been self employed in the Irish mural and sign
business since 1981. While his original interest was in traditional
signwork and calligraphy, his Mural art has always been in demand
from a variety of clientele, such as hotels, pubs, restaurants, clubs,
leisure centres,
private homes,
etc .
For four years, from 1987 to
1991, he was employed by Ellis Displays in Adelaide,
South Australia, and since then, has been based in his
native County Tipperary at home in Ireland. His work takes him far and
wide, and his Murals have also featured in the press,
and on national TV,
with a live interview on RTE TV on the Afternoon Show with Bláthnaid,
on February 14th. 2007.
As well as working
on large scale Murals, Neil also paints smaller canvases
and panels, whatever is required.
