Munster’s rugby victory over the mighty All Blacks in Thomond Park in 1978, was the first time that the Kiwis were ever beaten by an Irish senior men’s side. With a team coached by Tom Kiernan, and including such household names as the late great Moss Keane, Tony Ward, Brendan Foley, Ginger McLoughlin etc, the heroics from this game will always be remembered by rugby fans in Munster and all over Ireland.

A Special Project
In 2009, I traveled and met every one of the players individually in their homes etc, and all kindly signed a small number of Prints for me, which are the only ones in existence. Meeting and chatting with these men one to one, was a thrill of a lifetime, and something that will stay with me always. For more background information on this unique journey, click on the ‘Munster Rugby 1978’ tab above.
Please note The small number of Prints which were signed by all of the players (including Tom Kiernan) are much more expensive than the Standard Print due to their rarity. Email for details if interested.
