From Killenaule Co. Tipperary, Rachael Blackmore proudly made sporting history by becoming the very first female jockey to win the Aintree Grand National. She achieved this historic feat aboard ‘Minella Times’ on April 10th. 2021. She also won the trophy as the leading Cheltenham jockey by having six winners across the four days of the festival and was the first female jockey to win the Champion Hurdle. A truly remarkable achievement.
